🧼 Handmade Soaps
Let it breathe between uses.
Keep your soap in a dry, well-ventilated area and allow it to fully drain between uses. A draining soap dish or soap saver works best.
Avoid leaving your soap sitting in water or directly under running shower water. Keeping it dry between uses will help your bar last much longer.
For soaps containing botanicals, seeds, coffee, or other exfoliating ingredients, massage gently against the skin and avoid excessive pressure.
🫧 Jelly Soaps
Jelly soaps love a little extra care!
Keep your jelly soap in its container or on a clean, dry surface between uses. Avoid allowing water to collect around it.
For an extra refreshing experience, you can chill your jelly soap before use. ❄️
Handle gently—its soft, bouncy texture is part of the fun!
🍯 Sugar Scrubs
Always use clean, dry hands or a clean scoop when removing product from the jar.
Try to keep water from entering the container, as introducing water can affect the quality and freshness of your scrub.
Gently massage onto damp skin and rinse thoroughly.
Be careful: oils may make your bathtub or shower floor slippery.
🧴 Body Butters
Store your body butter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
Because our body butters contain rich butters and oils, warmer temperatures may cause them to soften or melt. This doesn’t necessarily mean the product has gone bad—the texture may simply change.
If melting occurs, place the closed container somewhere cool and allow it to firm back up.
For best results, apply a small amount to slightly damp skin and massage it in.
🕯️ Candles
Before each burn, trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch.
For the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly across most or all of the surface when possible. This can help your candle burn more evenly during future uses.
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials.
Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface and discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom.
