What goes into an Elixora creation matters just as much to me as how it looks, smells, and feels.
My approach to making has always been about finding a beautiful balance between creativity, self-care, and thoughtfully selected ingredients. I gravitate toward plant-derived and naturally inspired ingredients whenever they make sense for the product, while being intentional about every formula I create.
🧼 Glycerin-Based Soaps
My traditional soap creations begin with glycerin-based soap bases, which allow me to create beautiful small-batch bars while incorporating different oils, botanicals, extracts, clays, exfoliants, colors, and fragrances.
From there, each soap develops its own personality—from soft and floral to earthy, refreshing, fruity, cozy, or wonderfully unexpected.
🫧 Plant-Based Jelly Soaps
Even my jelly soaps have a little botanical magic.
I use a carrageenan-based jelly soap base rather than gelatin. Carrageenan is derived from red seaweed and gives jelly soaps their signature soft, wiggly texture.
No gelatin here. 💜
My product collection is created with a vegetarian philosophy, and I love finding ingredients that allow me to explore fun textures and imaginative products without losing that intention.
🌸 Botanical Oils & Extracts
Some of my favorite ingredients to create with include jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, rose extract, aloe, floral extracts, and other botanical ingredients.
Different products call for different combinations, so you’ll find these ingredients sprinkled throughout the Elixora collection rather than in every formula.
🍯 Honey, Oatmeal & Coffee
Some ingredients have remained favorites because I simply love what they bring to a creation.
Honey and oatmeal make beautiful additions to some of my soaps, while coffee, ground coffee, coffee seed oil, and coffee butter bring rich color, texture, and that warm, comforting coffee character I adore.
Because some Elixora products contain honey, the collection is vegetarian rather than entirely vegan. Products that meet different ingredient preferences can be identified individually.
🧈 Butters & Nourishing Oils
I love creating with rich ingredients such as cocoa butter, coffee butter, cranberry butter, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, and other oils and butters selected for each individual formula.
They’re especially fun to work with in body butters and scrubs, where texture is part of the whole experience.
🪨 Clays, Botanicals & Natural Texture
Nature gives me an incredible palette to create with.
Depending on the product, you may see clays, flowers, oatmeal, poppy seeds, coffee, botanical powders, plant extracts, and other exfoliating or decorative ingredients incorporated into my designs.
I love when an ingredient doesn’t just contribute to a formula—it becomes part of the personality of the product.

And because this is Elixora, sometimes we need a little sparkle. ✨
When shimmer or mica is incorporated into a creation, I prioritize biodegradable and thoughtfully selected decorative materials whenever appropriate.
It’s one of my favorite ways to bring the fantasy and magic of Elixora into something you can actually hold in your hands.
🕯️ Coconut Soy & Soy Wax
For candles, I love working with coconut-soy and soy waxes to create cozy, beautifully scented pieces that complement the self-care side of Elixora.
Because sometimes your ritual isn’t something you put on your body.
Sometimes it’s lighting a candle, getting comfortable, and giving yourself permission to simply exist for a while. 🌙

Elixora is about making self-care feel welcoming, creative, joyful, and accessible to different people and families.
Some products may be suitable for family use, but every person—and especially every child’s skin—can have different sensitivities. Please check the individual product’s ingredients, recommended use, and age guidance before use. Adult supervision is recommended for products intended to be enjoyed by children.
Fragrance, essential oils, botanicals, exfoliants, and other ingredients can affect everyone differently, so I always encourage a patch test when trying something new.
And because I create in small batches and enjoy experimenting, not every Elixora product contains the same ingredients. The individual product listing and packaging will always be your best source for what’s inside your specific creation.
